Bunmi Adeniba Becomes Coca-Cola New Marketing Director

Bunmi Adeniba, an experienced marketing professional and commercial operator with a strong bias for harnessing value for multiple stakeholders through consumer insights and her understanding of an end-to-end manufacturing process, has been appointed as the new Marketing Director of Coca-Cola Nigeria Plc.

Mrs. Adeniba, the Acting President of Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN), was the Marketing Director of Unilever Nigeria prior to her current position. She is also the World Federation of Advertisers’ Vice President (WFA).

The World Federation of Advertisers Executive Committee brings together senior marketers and public affairs executives to reflect the dual mission of assisting marketers in being more effective and efficient in terms of marketing spend, while also assisting brand owners in protecting and future-proofing their license to operate through advocacy and effective advertising.

Her ability to quickly comprehend, interpret, and apply strategic directives is regarded as exceptional and commendable. She has an excellent deposition and is always eager to learn and share her knowledge.

Mrs. Adeniba has over two decades of experience in brand development, innovation design, and quality management systems.

She holds an MBA from Hult Business School in Boston as well as a certificate in Strategic Marketing Management from Harvard Business School in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

She is a 2018 CSC Leader, a global program for exceptional senior leaders chosen from government, business, and non-governmental organizations from the Commonwealth’s 53 member countries.

Mrs. Adeniba is an advocate for women’s empowerment and the development of exceptional leaders in the marketplace.

Leading Ladies Africa named her one of the fifty Ladies in Corporate Nigeria, and Brand communicator named her one of the top 50 women in marketing and communication in Nigeria.

Mrs. Adeniba is a member of the Institute of Directors (IOD), the National Institute of Marketing (NIMN), the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the United Kingdom (MCIM), the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON), and the American Society of Quality (ASQ). She is a Digital Marketing Institute Certified Digital Marketing
Professional (CDMP).

She is married and the mother of three children.
