MTN Nigeria Hosts Media Professionals to an Interactive Webinar Session for MIP 2024

With applications open for the third cohort of the Media Innovation Programme, MTN Nigeria invites participants to a webinar on Tuesday 2nd April 2024, by 12 p.m.

Hosted by MTN Nigeria in partnership with the School of Media and Communications, Pan-Atlantic University, the webinar seeks to provide explanations and clarity for intending applicants as well as answer questions participants may have about the application process.

The session provides the attendees an opportunity to gain insights into the key objectives and components of this program, hear success stories from past participants, and how the initiative helped them better their skills and grow their careers, as well as engage with the team and ask any questions.

Speaking on the impact of the Fellowship, the Chief Corporate Services & Sustainability Officer of MTN Nigeria, Tobechukwu Okigbo, said, “The media play a crucial role in shaping the society. It is important that they are enabled with tools and opportunities to do their jobs better as this ultimately benefits society. Our commitment is to continue to empower media practitioners, regardless of platforms, to be able to innovate and create technological-driven solutions to our world. This is what the MTN Media Innovation Programme seeks to accomplish.”

Speakers of the webinar include Chinedu Chidi, Special Projects Editor, Ripples Nigeria; Elizabeth Musa, Broadcast Journalist, BusinessDay; Victory Wilson, Broadcaster, Silverbird Television and Abidemi Dairo, News Producer at Channels Television.

Together with the Media Innovation Programme, the webinar is open to interested media professionals across online, print, electronic strata, and content creators.
