Jumia becomes first African Tech Company listed on New York Stock Exchange
The e-commerce company, Jumia has become the first African technology company to ever list on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
This was revealed to our correspondent by the company yesterday.
According to Jumia, “this is a major milestone. For us, this is an important day, yet our mission and our values do not change one bit.
“We are leveraging technology to help consumers better access goods and services, help sellers better build their business and drive sustainable impact in Africa through our team and partners”, they noted.
While appreciating the continuous of their customers, the company assured customers on continuous creation of, and giving value to their satisfaction as well as their money.
“With this milestone, we are together sending a very powerful message to the world and this contributes to shine a light on the great things which are happening in Africa.
