Coronavirus Cases in Nigeria Hit 65 — 12 New Patients in Lagos

Nigeria has recorded 14 new cases of the coronavirus, bringing the total number to 65.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this via its Twitter handle on Thursday night.

It said 12 of the cases are in Lagos while two are in Abuja.

According to a tweet by the Chief Press Secretary to the Lagos State Governor, Gboyega Akosile, via his Twitter handle, @gboyegaakosile, of the14 new coronavirus cases, 12 are from Lagos and two in Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja.

He also added that six of the 12 cases in Lagos were discovered aboard a vessel with three of them returning travellers while one is close contact with a confirmed case.
