As a way to deepen the right technology adoption in Sub Saharan Africa, the number one brand in European freestanding white goods market, Beko has launched its wide range of higher energy saving home appliances in Nigeria.
During the official unveiling held in Lagos, the company which also doubles as the official home appliance partner of FC Barcelona noted that the higher energy saving and high-quality products were specially designed for Nigerian market due to its peculiar energy challenge.
By turning a major challenge into an opportunity for excellent innovations and drive maximum consumer satisfaction, the Regional Director, sub-Sahara Africa, Evren Albas stated that Beko has designed some of its home appliances to also be powered with Solar energy.
According to him, Beko solar products will assist communities where there is no electricity grid yet or those who would like to depend less on the power supply from the national grid.
These products include Beko solar refrigerator and chest freezer which run on solar energy.

More so, Albas acknowledged that the company will also be offering after-sales support services of its of high-quality products.
“In Nigeria, we democratise technology for the people by giving them maximum after-sales support. We also intend to create maximum awareness through the use of popular media platforms such as television, radio, outdoor and the internet,” he said.
In addition to catering to all customers’ needs in the kitchen, Beko product range in Nigerian markets include small appliances, washing machines, cooking appliances, right through to all types of refrigerators and freezers as earlier mentioned.
Furthermore, an exciting new product called the “CoolBox” was equally launched for the first time in Africa.
The cool box is an innovative solution that allows consumer who are not able to benefit from powered refrigerators or freezers, to keep their food fresh. Made from special material and evapoartive technology, Beko Coolbox maintains the freshness of food up to 2 times longer by filling up a certain segment with water.

The company noted that the coolbox do more with less consumption of energy and water resources.
Beko has partnered with a leading provider of integrated supply chain solutions – MDS Logistics, which has a network of 51 distribution centers, in 31 Nigerian states.
